There’s gonna be a different format this year in the BBVA Rising Stars Challenge. Instead of the usual Rookies vs. Sophomores setup, the NBA will (for the first time) mix the rookies and sophomores together on teams. But here’s the more interesting part, Charles Barkley and Shaq will serve as the general managers of the two opposing teams.
TEAM SHAQ and TEAM CHUCK will draft from a pool of selected first and second year players to create a 9-man roster. Kenny Smith will be the honorary Commissioner and Ernie Johnson will host the live BBVA Rising Stars Challenge Draft.
